18 Day Self-Drive Family Holiday | KwaZulu-Natal South Africa
Outposts Travel Africa arranged an 18 day family holiday for a lovely family of 4 who were keen to visit South Africa together during the school holidays. We organised an adventure-packed self-drive itinerary that took them on a journey through KwaZulu-Natal.

“We all had a great first experience in South Africa. We liked Antbear Lodge very much especially as it was our first stop in the country and after a long trip I must say it was a particularly relaxing place. The lodge is in a really remote and wild location with some beautiful views of the Drakensberg Mountains. Amakosi Lodge was also a favourite which has a very high standard of services and comfort. The staff who guided us (Jeremy the tracker and Aden the ranger) were more than perfect. You could have said that they were as excited as us in tracking and watching the animals. Every single morning and evening they gave us more than 2 hours and 30 minutes of pure happiness. I felt like our children were watching their favourite film ‘The Lion King’ in motion.”
